Security note. Sign-in is enforced on the server: passwords are stored as PBKDF2 hashes, sessions are server-side tokens, and every role check is repeated on the API — hiding a button in the browser is not what protects the data. Sessions end after 12 hours, or 30 days with Remember me. Changing a user's password signs that user out everywhere.

        Warning window (DECIDE zone) days
        The first two only pre-fill dates when a new reservation is created; existing reservations are not touched. The warning window decides when a reservation enters the DECIDE zone.
